I&#39;ve heard some of Loaf&#39;s non-Steinman penned material and it pales in comparison. The two of them went together like Elton John &amp; Bernie Taupin. <br /><br />I also really dig Steinman&#39;s 1981 album, <i>Bad For Good</i> which was supposed to have been the follow-up to <i>Bat Out of Hell</i> but Steinman got sick of waiting for Meat Loaf to get his voice back so he recorded the album himself.
